Widow Haven Tans rocked the Convention!
We (Megan and I) were both fortunate enough to have won Best of Breed Tan in our respective shows (Megan in Youth, Open for me)

In Open, Widow Haven's C-lebrity won breed out of 136 animals.I was truly shocked and I am extremely thankful


In Youth, Widow Haven's Beyonce won breed out of 50 animals. Beyonce is now residing in lovely Texas!

Widow Haven's C-lebrity Wins two BOB out of 24 animals at 10 weeks!

Widow Haven rabbitry is a co-owned rabbitry between Sarah and Megan Carden. We raise Tan rabbits and specialize  in the Black variety. We believe in quality over quantity, so our herd remains small (10-20 animals). We love our Tans and strive for an animal that will be competitive in large, open competition.

We believe in registration and potentially granding animals, So all our senior animals are registered with the A.R.B.A. and if possible, are registered grand champions with the A.R.B.A as well. We are a registered rabbitry with the ARBA and we are both members of the American Tan Rabbit Specialty Club

Tans are not for everyone. They are a spirited breed and can at times agressive ( like when they have a litter or want to be bred). Most of the time though, tans are a relatively gentle and very inquisitive breed. Tan's do not require a lot of care as far as coat, but do require a fair amount of exercise due to their high activity level.

 Tans are the perfect breed for us here at Widow Haven. We love the spirit of this breed and the first sight of them had us head over heels for them.
